This publication is a response to poet/musician Geoff Page’s presentation on jazz poetry to the School of Music Poets on Friday 17 August 2012 at Biginelli Espresso, School of Music, Australian National University.
Geoff discussed the problems of combining performance poetry with a jazz ensemble and performed some short pieces from his latest book of jazz poetry, A Sudden Sentence in the Air (2011).
